RSE-NSFC Workshop on Emerging Directions in Image Processing and Understanding

The RSE and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) have a formal agreement, established to support research collaborations between Scotland and China. Under the terms of this agreement, the RSE and NSFC organised a workshop in October 2011 in China in the area of Image Understanding and Processing.
A delegation of six leading researchers in the area of image understanding and processing attended from Scotland to meet with their Chinese counterparts, present their work and explore future opportunities for collaboration between the participants from Scotland and China.
