Winners
In Session 2010/11 the Prize was awarded to both Dr Nicholas Rowell, Space Technology Centre, University of Dundee for his paper entitled "White Dwarfs in the SuperCOSMOS Sky Survey: the thin disc, thick disc and spheroid luminosity functions", and David Sobral, Institute for Astronomy, University of Edinburgh, for his paper entitled "The dependence of star formation activity on environment and stellar mass at z~1 from HiZELS H-alpha survey"
In Session 2009/12, the Prizewinner was Michael Campbell, from the Institute for Astronomy, University of Edinburgh, for his paper entitled VLT-MAD Observations of the core of 30 Doradus.
