Fellowship / Events for Fellows / Summer Reception 
A Summer Reception for Fellows, their partners and guests is normally held in June/July, with the venue alternating between the RSE and another location in Scotland.
2007 Summer Soiree
On Monday 2 July 2007, following a conference held earlier that day to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Thomas Telford
2006 Summer Reception
The 2006 Summer Reception for Fellows was held on Monday July 3 at 6pm in the Society’s rooms, when the President presented Royal Medals to Sir John Ball FRS, FRSE and Sir David Jack CBE, FRS, FRSE.
2005
No summer reception was held in 2005
Friday 2 July 2004
The 2004 Summer Reception took place at the University of Dundee, within an especially designated RSE marquee as part of Sensation Village during the spectacular University Graduation celebrations.
