Postgraduate Research Prize and Small Astronomy Research Grants
The Robert Cormack Bequest Committee annually awards a Postgraduate Research Prize to recognise and reward the most outstanding postgraduate student contribution to astronomical research in Scotland. The Committee are also able to make small Research Grants to individuals or groups for Public Understanding of Science activities. This scheme is intended to help set up new projects, or to add new elements to existing ones, rather than to fund ongoing activities. Further information

postgraduate research in medical or veterinary physiology

| Lessells Scholarships - closing date now passed |
| These Scholarships arise from a bequest
from the late Professor John Moyes Lessells, an eminent
mechanical engineer who emigrated to the United States
of America in 1920. The Scholarships are for Honours Graduates
in all forms of Engineering from Scottish Universities,
who wish to study some aspect of their profession outwith
