for Scotland Research fellowships -
2008 Closing date now passed
Under
the title, "The Ageing Population", Fellowships
and Scholarships can cover all aspects of the ageing
process eg the medical, psychological, sociological
and economic consequences of old age and the research
proposed must aim at improving the quality of life.
Applications for Fellowships, Studentships and Workshops to commence or be held during 2008 closed on 22nd February 2008. All the documents below (Regulations and Application forms) available for download below pertain to the last round of applications; updated ones will be available in the winter of 2008.
Personal
Research Fellowships are tenable for up to 3 years
and are for post-doctoral research.
2008 Lloyds TSB Personal Research Fellowship
Regulations
Support
Research Fellowships are for existing members of
academic staff who have held their appointments for
at least 5 years. They are normally tenable for 1 year
and provide funding for a replacement, to enable the
Fellow to take study leave whilst remaining in continuous
employment with present employer.
2008 Lloyds TSB Support Research Fellowship
Regulations
Studentships
are tenable for three years and are for graduates with
first class or 2:1 degrees for independent research leading
to doctorate or equivalent qualification.
