The Prize "will be awarded for the best astronomical research paper submitted for publication in the 12 months up to and including June in the year of award. The Robert Cormack Bequest Committee is able to make small Research Grants to individuals or groups for Public Understanding of Science activities. This scheme is intended to help set up new projects, or to add new elements to existing ones, rather than to fund ongoing activities. Four CRF European Visiting Research Fellowships will be awarded each year, normally two in each direction, and they will be for visits of between two and six months' duration.
