Applications may be submitted on any subject provided that the
original research was part of a programme largely funded by STFC or made
use of STFC supported facilities.
The STFC/RSE Enterprise Fellowships are intended to exploit the STFC research programme The Fellowships provide a unique opportunity for researchers to spend a year gaining business training whilst developing the commercialisation of their existing research. The Fellowships may be held in any UK Higher Education Institution (HEI).
The Fellowships are available to academic and research staff, postgraduates and graduates with relevant experience who may already be working in a UK HEI or Research Institute. The Fellowships are tenable for a period of one year, commencing on or before 1 October 2008. Salaries will be according to HEI grades, spinal point Grades 23-37 (currently in the range £23,577 -£35,663 (October 2008)), and additional support funding will also be available.
