  Secondary School Drama Workshops (ages 15-25)
  Musical Theatre Workshop led by a professional practitioner
Educational context: creativity and culture.
  Secondary School Illustrated Talk and Performance (S3/S4)
  Blurring the boundaries - from classical to contemporary music – the discussions covered who has influenced contemporary and classical musician’s musical creativity, and how they approach composition or song writing. What are the similarities and differences between contemporary and classical approaches to music creation?

  Secondary School Talk and Sound Exhibition (S5/S6)
  How sound affects our everyday lives – blurring the boundaries between art and science - the talk was about how sound affects our everyday lives and the exhibition of contemporary art aimed at raising awareness of the environmental issue of increasing sound levels in the community. More generally it sought to question the barriers sometimes set up to delineate art from science.
Educational context: Science (physics), art.
  Art Workshops
  Artist George Donald led an all day workshop entitled Artfest at Hospitalfield, at Hospitalfield on 1st July. He began the day with a presentation focusing on his life works. Following his talk, he provided one to one tuition to the students in attendance who produced creative work by drawing and painting objects found both inside and around the grounds Hospitalfield House.
(There were limited places available for this workshop and school and college students, as well as members from a local community art group, were selected to attend on merit.)
